Naya Shakti discussing bases of party formation

The newly established Naya Shakti Nepal led by former prime minister Baburam Bhattarai is discussing three major party documents including the statute in what it called “the discussion session” being held at the Nepal Academy of the Capital. The party’s coordinator Baburam Bhattarai presented a report entitled ‘Bases of Naya Shakti’ whereas leaders Devendra Paudel and Rameshwor Khanal presented ‘Organisational Principle and Statute’ and ‘Outline of Development and Prosperity’ respectively, party spokesperson Khimlal Devkota told the Rastriya Samachar Samiti. According to the RSS report, party cadres have been divided into 12 groups to hold deliberations. Representatives of the groups would discuss the reports and air their views today while the papers would be finalised tomorrow considering the feedback, Devkota informed. The representatives include those from Nepali communities living in 24 nations including India, South Korea, Australia, United Arab Emirates, United States, Malaysia, Portugal, United Kingdom and France among others.
